PayPal V2 Interface

I spoke to PayPal on the phone today because I am still using the “old” PayPal Plus plugin. Everything works, but PayPal recommends switching to the V2 interface as soon as possible. Has this already been implemented in a PayPal addon?

Ok, is there already an approximate agenda? I think this is important because PayPal remains the number 1 payment method. And they are trying to switch all customers to V2 because V1 is no longer being developed.

No problem at the moment, except that the address details (which are probably stored with PayPal) are often incompletely transferred to Joomshopping. (House number is missing, etc.). The PayPal consultant said the problem is known, but V1 is no longer being developed and will be fixed in V2 soon. Because its simply the newer technology

Same here - we had a call from a PayPal employee urgently recommending that we switch to PayPal V2 because V1 will be deactivated "soon".

We don't currently use it with JS at all (currently another system). But we are evaluating a switch to JS and are currently checking whether this will work. Unfortunately, we have not yet found any information as to whether, for example, the PayPal Advanced add-on (https://www.webdesigner-profi.de/joomla-webdesign/shop/payments/paypal-advanced-checkout.html) already works with PayPal V2.

PayPal says V1 is deprecated. Maybe it's time to change some things. :)
